home sweet home

Eight hours of drive time + 15 hours of airport and flying time over a couple of days to see family = After some really yucky driving in the rain yesterday, numerous airport delays, and one 4 minute sprint to make our connection after only splitting a personal pan pizza between the three of us…

I wanted so much to touch and love on him…but he looked pooped…tomorrow I will hug and hug on him. He is the light of my life….of course, so are those older grandkids.. just, Miles always has time for me. and he doesn’t talk back or disagree with me..ha ha ha

It’s already been 2 months and we said we would stay in touch. Let’s get together soon. I mean it. I can’t wait to see him again. Lots of Love, Jennie

Hey sweetie! Glad you are home in time for your birthday! Cannot wait to see picts from the trip. xo

can you hear me now?

I might be incommunicado this week, so if you don’t hear from me, don’t worry, I’m still breathing. (Thanks for the email reminder Jeremy!) However, I have a very intense internet addiction that usually keeps me either loitering in coffee shops or even sitting in my car in coffee shop parking lots after dark when…

Hi Betsy! I’m a new reader of your blog (LOVE it!) and I left you a comment a few days back. However, I think the comment got stuck in a filter somewhere because I put a link in it… so it never showed up.

Anyway. Just wanted to let you know that I adore the photos of your little boy! His expressions remind me so much of my own son – ten months old. It’s really fun to see what he will do three months from now!!

    Take care! Ida in Canada

He’s going to be such a musical genius 🙂 Hope you guys are both feeling better–I had the mysterious sickness that’s floating around myself. Paul is getting excited for his senior pictures in a guy-kind-of-way 🙂 Love you guys!!

Have a safe trip and take a lot of picts. We are leaving for Charleston to plan the wedding. Talk to you when you get back. Love you. xo

easter basketness

Ahhh, it’s been an awesome weekend. (Insert sarcastic tone here.) Last night John and I literally laid in bed all night watching mindless movies and groaning over our belly aches from the belly bug that has gotten both of us. I will say, I have never been sick of the same ailment at the same…

Glad Miles loved Easter Egg Hunting… Eli did too. We were like you guys thinking he wouldn’t be into it, but he loved it!! Hope you feel better and have a good, busy week!!

random blast from the past

So I’m recovering from my belly bug but John is down with it BIG TIME right now. Poor guy never gets sick, but he’s been in bed since this afternoon. : ( So it’s a quiet house and I was just searching in my documents folder for something as I’m trying to get some work…

Hi Betsy, I’m a brand new reader of the blog (since yesterday!) and I just wanted to leave you a comment saying how much I adore the photos of your son! You really are a wonderful photographer!! Maybe I enjoy your blog so much because I recognize A LOT of what your little son is doing… we have a ten-month old son here and there are so many things that Miles do in the videos that remind me of my Bailey-boy! And I seriously can’t imagine that in three months he’ll be able to answer a question!! When you asked Miles “Can you find the page with the cow?”, it completely blew my mind… 🙂

By the way – the leg warmers are adorable!! May I ask where you found them? I hope you have a good Easter and that your husband gets better soon! Best wishes from Ida in Canada (I have a blog but it’s all written in Swedish… so I’m not sure it would be that interesting… however, here’s the address to my Flickr-page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/idacelia/)

belly bugs

It’s been stomach flu not-so-niceness around here for ALL of us. (Yep, even my husband with the amazing immune system has it now.) So that’s why I have been blog absent. Poor Miles’ easter basket will probably go the way of his low key birthday and he’ll probably just get an Easter Balloon this year…. Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
