ice storm photography = fun, but frozen fingers

We woke up to a gorgeous icicle wonderland this morning. We were fine (of course, since we work from home and barely leave the house) but a very large part of Allen county was on total lockdown without power in their homes. (Some of my very good friends are included in this. I’m soooo sorry…

    Betsy…those are the most beautiful pictures! I loved them. They actually gave me a chill and it was 65 degrees here today…go figure.

    I’m so glad he did well traveling….the wrapped presents was an awesome idea! I’m the same way as you, i get stressed when traveling with all of the kiddos loot, as my mom says i get “flustered”…OH GOD, i’m turning into my mother 🙂

    Sky Mall makes me sleepy too…that and soothing sounds from the iPod. Looks like Miles is a much better traveler than my 4yo…we went to Hawaii in May and that string of flights was pretty painful, she didn’t sleep at all! 🙁 Glad you guys got to relax and enjoy some family time!

    Very cute! I thought I was the only sixteen year old in 1992 who even knew who Harry Connick Jr. was. 🙂 Honest to Pete, the ONLY fan letter I ever sent someone was to Harry. He sent back a signed picture and it was on my wall paper covered bulletin board for years. Ha!
