dan, chelsa & michael: the movie

My first shoot of the season was kicked off with an adorable little family of three, not too far from where John, Miles and I are at right now. Their son is nearing two so I felt right at home with this little sweetie. Oh, and speaking of home, keep your eyes open for the…

Hi Betsy! It’s probably just me, but for whatever reason, your blog looks perfectly normal and the text is all there, but with no pictures! Oh no! It’s probably something on our end, but I wanted to let you know, just in case. 🙂

teeny tiny smile

Earlier today I blogged about my weekend but I left out a very important part of my Saturday, meeting this sweet baby girl. Every shoot has a different feeling, so as much as I want my photos to look consistent, sometimes I have to try something different. I chose an “antiquey” warm finish to these…

a peek into our weekend

I haven’t written a “mommy blog post” in a while. So, if you will allow me to, I’d like to chat a bit about our weekend with our ever changing and fast growing Miles. Saturday morning we headed to the library to see if we could satiate Miles’ thirst for books on CD and see…

I LOVE “Blueberries for Sal”…one of my favorite Children’s books! Check out this site for more audio stories for Miles: http://www.kiddierecords.com/ They’re all FREE!!!! 🙂

the pic of miles the puppet is too cute! getting to be such a big boy – leaps and bounds is all i will say – leaps and bounds from here on out!

  • CassieMarch 30, 2009 - 4:49 pm

I love the pic with John carrying the bag and Miles looking over his shoulder to make sure his goodies were still on their way up behind him. I totally used to go to that cafe to hear music in high school…that makes me so happy you guys go!

Duh me regarding bookmarks. Got it right now! Wish we had kits for kids… Though I couldn’t suck more at returning library stuff on time I can’t imagine keeping a whole kit together as well!

    Happy Monday. 🙂

Okay now I need a brag post on Zane. I have been holding off to not sound like a bragging mom…but you are so right that it’s totally OKAY! It’s just in us. And I think it’s so cute that Miles is running to you when he hears things, etc. How do they change right before our eyes each second?!!!

  • heidi garciaMarch 31, 2009 - 5:29 am

I’m always talking or bragging about Noah..it makes me feel good- and totally agree on the link post. I remember coming to the realization that is how they deal with change and what not..we as adults learn not to kick and scream at thing out of the norm even though it feels good when we do it by ourselves when no ones looking ;)~

  • AshleyMarch 31, 2009 - 1:57 pm

That is too awesome that you had the camera in time to catch him dragging that bag upstairs! What lens do you keep on your camera most?

  • ErinMarch 31, 2009 - 3:13 pm

Yay! I’m so glad to hear you gave it another shot and didn’t give up on the library completely! I hope Miles stays well this week after being around the germies there. And his hair is awesome… “GIRLS LOVE CURLS!”

  • AmandaMarch 31, 2009 - 6:51 pm

Well I totally need to update my reader, because I was missing all these fun posts! 😉 Grady has entered a new strange phase with being alarmed at various things too, but mainly it is if we change anything at home, in his home base, so to speak. If I move a piece of furniture, it throws him off; if it a big change, there is crying and then I feel awful. Kids, always something! =)

Brag away Momma, on both your boys. HAHA!

  • Diane - DB ImpressionsApril 13, 2009 - 11:44 pm

Its so in our blood to brag about our kids….and I love Blueberries for Sal too! Richard Scary books….there isn’t much better, unless its some of the other classic Golden Books that we grew up with! 😉

sneak peek tease

This little guy has been on vacation for the past week, so I have held off on posting his teaser, but I just heard from his mama they are home, so here ya go! I wanted to choose one that would make them all smile, and hopefully I chose well. I just think he’s such…

What a cutie! I love his expression.

  • Maya LaurentMarch 29, 2009 - 1:07 pm

    Could he be any cuter?!!!

  • April Cochran-SmithMarch 30, 2009 - 3:11 am

Too cute! I absolutely LOVE that chair, by the way. Like, obsessive love 🙂

  • Captured By JessMarch 30, 2009 - 3:25 am

Aha! I knew my feed to your blog was messed up! I’ve missed like 3 posts so far! Now how to fix it…. hmmm.

Back to business… CUTE kid! Love how he is perched on the edge of the chair. What a peanut! And I’m loving your new “imperfect line” photo border. That’s what I’m calling it anyway…

  • bobbiMarch 31, 2009 - 1:20 pm

I would just like to say… your logo is SO you!!!!! I LOVE how it looks on this image 🙂 Makes me smile.

guess who is having fun with their new logo

It’s the background to my Twitter page. It totally gives you a headache when you see it in repeating tiles, but it’s Twitter, so I figured I was allowed a little nuttiness. Also, I’ve had a bunch of people, even ones that don’t know me, tell me how much Miles looks like me. I don’t… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...

I just love your new logo!! And I think Miles looks just like John, especially in the eyes. But I do think he has your smile! 🙂

  • Diane - DB ImpressionsApril 13, 2009 - 11:40 pm

I actually think Miles has your eyes, but beyond that…does he look like either of your baby pictures? One of my kids is the SPITTING image of my husband, and the other could pass for my twin, lol…glad you’re having fun with the new logo!
