Here’s our little drumming scarecrow, getting things rolling in class. I tried to get Miles to pose with his cute classmates, especially his friend Audrey in her…

Okay, for real…I’ve been having the longest day EVER and just want the weekend to arrive and this little post started it off right because…not to take away from the adorableness that is Miles but that second photo down…that kid with the C3PO costume? Matt’s family

Well, look at this sweet little cutie snuggled up between her parents. Who is that little dolly? It’s Ainsley, the daughter of local (and awesome) photographer, Matt, of Mat Hall Photography. Lookin good Matt! I know when I photograph my own husband, you can just look at him and know he’s such a nice guy….

this magazine has rocked our world

I’m the kind of person who orders the same thing at a restaurant every time. (Mostaccioli al Forno at Casa de Angelo’s, EVERY SINGLE TIME, for instance.) I enjoy great food, but I also enjoy a sure thing when it comes to food. If I’m starving and the meal isn’t what I expected it to… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...

Oh my mom & I saw that magazine in a store! I’ll have to tell her that the recipies are good

  • GailOctober 26, 2009 - 5:30 pm

Oooh – I’ll pick this one up! Thanks for the recommendation!

  • Lindsay HackettOctober 26, 2009 - 6:20 pm

So…how does Miles do with these meals? =)

  • MichelleOctober 26, 2009 - 7:02 pm

Yum. Bok Choy. I love the baby version of Bok Choy – it’s even tastier and more tender. Steam in pan with a bit of water until tender than add a splash of sesame oil and soy sauce. Divine. Good luck with the rest of your recipes.

  • CassieOctober 26, 2009 - 7:35 pm

I LOVE Real Simple! I didn’t know about some of those recipes, so I cut a select few out and added them to our cookbook. I love Cooking Light, too!

  • MichelleOctober 26, 2009 - 7:39 pm

Ya-HOOOOOO!!! I got this in the mail a few weeks ago and THOUGHT about trying it… but I HATE when I go out on a limb, try a new recipe and am disappointed. I can’t even begin to tell you the thoughts and feelings I have when that happens! So, to read that you’re doing it leads me to BEG for your top recommendations AND the FLOPS that I should skip… Pretty PLEEEEEEEAAAASE!!!! 🙂

  • TinaOctober 26, 2009 - 8:09 pm

So weird I JUST posted tonight about a Real Simple dessert I made! PS I’m totally the same way about always ordering the same thing at restaurants – maybe I should do this challenge! 🙂

  • AbbyOctober 26, 2009 - 9:21 pm

My sister-in-law subscribes to it and whenever I am there I read it cover to cover. When I saw the title of your post I thought… I wonder if she’s talking about “Real Simple” I want a subscription!!

  • LisaOctober 27, 2009 - 8:55 am

thanks for the recommendation – I’ve been in a bit of a cooking rut lately and have seen this issue but haven’t picked it up!

  • AnnieOctober 27, 2009 - 10:43 am

Apparently Real Simple is coming out with a cookbook of their best recipes, and I will be reviewing it on my blog in the next few weeks. Keep your eye out for that – maybe it will continue the challenge even longer.

  • AndreaOctober 27, 2009 - 9:03 pm
