For my birthday, my mom gave me this awesome book by Martha Stewart. I just LOVE it. Itโs so inspiring, the photography and layout is beautiful and well done and there are plenty of simple and easy projects that I can actually do. I LOVE it. Flipping through the pages, these simple little baby blankets…
You did a GREAT job with those! I LOVE your fabric choices. You should set up an Etsy shop for your crafts!
YEAHHHHHH for sewing time with Betsy ๐ Too bad my damn apron didn’t happen…HA!
BUT, I keep looking at the baby blanket and burp cloth I made for my girlfriend and I’m in LOVE! So next time, here’s to more of THOSE kinds of projects to keep me busy!
So glad they turned out well and the sewing machine got a good run. Enjoy!
What a great idea. I have been thinking about what I can do as a shower gift for a friend of mine. I think I’ll have to steal your idea. The fabric with the words is baby story by Heidi Grace. The fabric with the hearts is Heidi Grace too. I just found it on Joann fabrics website when I was looking at baby fabrics. So cute!
Those are so cute!
Dang it! I’m so impressed and now I want to have another baby so I can make these! ha! J/K. We’re getting a puppy in 2 weeks though. Do puppies need receiving blankets?! ;P
How bout a guilt out of some of Miles worn out clothes…You are already an expert…memories of helping with the red and blue one ya made for Andy was great.
ooo- love all this craftiness ๐ my favorite thing next to photography… ๐

Love these Betsy!!! I might have to jump out and grab that book. Trying to take up some sewing projects too! That fabric is sooo cute!
I LOVE sewing parties! They are the best and so not nerdy!

Hi Betsy! Now that I am expecting I had to come back and look at this post that I remembered you had posted a while back. How do you make the burp cloths?? I don’t see them in the book (I have it and love it too!!) Thanks!
