So here I am, in my hospital bed. Jocelyn is dozing in her bassinet and John is off taking Miles home from a spirited visit to his little sister. The first day after my 3 AM c-section I was literally dozing off every 20 minutes or so and then it’s been a mixture of whirlwind…

Yes, enjoy it! I loved my time in the hospital! Once you get home, everything is just so real. There’s something about that time that’s like a honeymoon with everyone fussing and taking care of you. Congratulations once again! Can’t wait to see more pics!

Betsy, you post about clothes for Miles made me laugh. I had envisioned my oldest in a “cute” boy outfit for our new family pic as a family of four, but he showed up with an orange t shirt from a dairy that he picked out nearly every day and a noodle necklace! But looking back, it makes me laugh and remember how much he loved it at the time. Best of luck with the transition to two kids. It is a wild but fun ride and there is nothing sweeter that seeing your first born as a big brother. It is the best! Austyn (friend of Liz)
