i’ve got a three month old & a monkey

Believe it or not, Jocelyn turned three months old this past week. It’s such a cliche, but man, the older you get (and the more kids you have) time really starts to blow your mind and become harder to wrap your heard around. So our little punkin is three months now and SO much fun….

Betsy, she is ALL girl. I just can’t get over how pretty she is.

P.S. We paraded Avram around in the bear costume tonight & drew our own oo’s & ah’s 🙂

i’m sure you guys get this every day, but those eyelashes…they’re KILLER! 🙂 beautiful girl…AND, i love that you guys have kindermusik in the US – i only began to hear of it from my swiss mama friends after we made the big move. it seems to be a super program – and it looks like miles really enjoys it. glad to know that if we are lucky enough to enroll a little one in kindermusik here someday, we’d likely find the program wherever home ends up being…back home, too. 😉 have a great day, betsy!

jocelyn’s dedication

I kept wondering all last week, and Saturday morning, if I could actually pull off throwing Jocelyn’s dedication at our home. John kept saying, “Well, what exactly would NOT pulling off the party look like?” Every time he reminded me of that, I realized that even if everything didn’t get done in time, the party…

    LOVE this post. 🙂

It was such a beautiful day, Bets–you did a fabulous job! Your house is just filled with so much love. I was thinking about you all week leading up to the dedication, wondering if you were missing your sister. There were a lot of good vibes & love going your way. It would be a lot of fun to record with John again, especially if I wasn’t recovering from strep throat this time 🙂 Love you guys!!

how blessed we are to have such beautiful grandbaby’s. with dedicated Mommy, Daddy and friends. I marvel at my beautiful Betsy. The road has been bumpy, but GOD is good and we have so much to be thankful for. WOW I am so grateful, even in my misery.

What a beautiful day for such a beautiful little girl! You’ll cherish these memories forever.

I’m so glad it all pulled together for you all! Cassie sings beautifully – she reminds me of a combo between Ingrid Michaelson (love) & Colbie Caillait (love). I watched the random stuff at the end & one thing that really touched me is how calm, loving and engaging your husband is with Miles. The fact that he gets down on his level is so important 🙂 May your family be blessed richly and a peace will come over you regarding what tomorrow holds… God bless

OMG, that song!!!! Oh Cassie you absolutely have to sell that!!! Pretty please… BEAUTIFUL!!

chill out mom

As you may remember from my last post, I have Jocelyn’s dedication that I”m hosting at our home this weekend. I’ve been sick and I’m still getting the hang of this whole two child dynamic, so finding a way to prepare for this party while juggling it all left me so stressed this morning that…

Haa!! I love this post, and I hear ya on shoveling during a snow storm….welcome to my everyday mingling of insanity. You’ll get it all done though, and have a great time this weekend- I just know it! And that photo, WOW, Joss has the same smushy-gushy Miles cheeks. 🙂 LOVE ya!!

Ha! I’m not chuckling at you I’m doing it with you. Oh yes cleaning the house with kids is fun with a capital F! Just remember anyone coming this weekend is coming to see you and your darling family, to celebrate Jocelyn and her dedication and not to judge whether the toys are perfect, dusting done and the house being neat as a pin. That’s been the hardest lesson to learn for me as a mom – but at the end of the day it’s the truth. Get the important things done, the rest, if they get done, they get done. Take a deep breath, enjoy and remember a glass of wine never hurt anyone (even a nursing baby). ;o) Have a wonderful dedication. Loving Jocelyn’s pretty blue eyes.

It was wonderful spending time with my daughter, away from home. Visiting for two hours at the Mocha lounge was a very special experience for Mother and Daughter. Let’s do it again real soon. I ask Miles ,if it was an accident, what happened to Mom’s stuff..He said. “Oh no, I did it on purpose.” 🙂

  • LaceyOctober 22, 2010 - 11:41 am

Miles’ reply was hilarious! Also loved the blog you linked to. P.S. While my sister and I were on the topic of smart & cute kids & babies the other day, I went to your blog to show her the videos of Miles reading & the video you made of him reciting the Dr. Seuss book–she was quite smitten! :- ) I won’t show her the above post about his little destructive mishap–I’m campaigning hard for a niece or nephew.

can’t get enough of these lashes

Two posts in a row when I should be in bed. I know, I know. GO TO BED sick girl! However, I can’t NOT share these precious lashes with the world before I call it a night. I love these lashes and the sweet little face they grace. Just want to eat this precious little…

    GO TO BED!

today’s vision of devotion

I walked down the stairs the other day to this sight. These dogs love each other so much, but not like I need to tell you that. This photo says it all. (And also shows how the pugs like to claim every baby item we own.) I’m telling you, my house is so full of… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
