the kiddos

My mom came along with me last week to help get the kiddos in the studio for some quick shots. (Thank you mom! It is NUTTY in the studio shooting your kids.) Jocelyn is growing up so quickly that my goal is to get them in the studio when ever I have a free morning…

Awww that shot you got of the kiddos is sweet! Glad you had some help as I’m sure it’s quite the feat to get everything just so. I’m always inspired by your photography – that’s how I started reading your blog but now it’s been so wonderful following your adventures as a mama of two. I always appreciate your truthfulness and being “real”! It’s refreshing!! Have a blessed Christmas!

Oh he’s holding her! Yay! And I LOVED Bobbi’s post of your pictures! That one of you & Joss had me tearing up. So perfect.

  • AprilDecember 20, 2010 - 9:03 am

So, so sweet!!! You can already tell he is going to be so protective of her.

  • GailDecember 28, 2010 - 9:42 am

UMMMM..HOW DID I MISS THIS?!!!! That first shot? WOW. Miles looks SO grown up! And that little Jocelyn…melt…my…heart.

can you believe it’s already time for FOOD?

I’m a die hard “booby juice” kind of gal, but this little punkin was showing all the signs of being ready for something more. So here she is, taking her first bite, with brother bear (as I call him) looking on. Time is going by too fast! I’m holding on for dear life!

Oh my gosh your “booby juice” phrase had me laugh out loud! 🙂 You’ll be glad to know my little guy is 10-months old and still on “booby juice.” HA! Have a great weekend!

  • BetsyDecember 17, 2010 - 11:11 pm

Yes! She loves it. She loves to eat like me!

  • AprilDecember 18, 2010 - 3:21 pm

Time goes by so fast, doesn’t it??? 🙁

christmas classic

Here’s an oldie but a goodie from the King Family holiday archives. It’s Miles meeting santa when he was almost 2. Just thought I would send a little holiday trauma cheer your way today. We see the big man in red this Saturday at the zoo, so we’ll see if we have smiles or tears…

Poor guy! That is hilarious!! This was Henry’s (almost 3) first year to sit in happily in Santa’s lap.

Hmm. That was weird! I meant to say “Poor guy! That is hilarious!! This was Henry’s (almost 3) first year to happily sit in Santa’s lap. Good luck!

  • CassieDecember 16, 2010 - 10:55 am

  • Diane {Hershey, PA Photography}December 16, 2010 - 12:28 pm

LMBO!!!!!! Hilarious. My guys take a second to warm up, but never seem to want to leave. :-S

  • GailDecember 16, 2010 - 1:58 pm

BAHAHAHAHA…these kinds of shots NEVER get old! Tracy posted on the Facebook Mallory’s first meet-up with Santa. I hate to say it, but it’s so good, it kinda even puts this Miles moment to shame!

  • Rachael WardDecember 16, 2010 - 5:19 pm

I was the photographer for a breakfast with Santa at a friend’s country club. I was surprised, but you are not alone! Many kids have this reaction to Santa. It makes it hard to take photos!

  • Heather CorporanDecember 18, 2010 - 12:01 am

HAHAHAHA, Betsy you just gave me the best darn laugh! Poor little guy, but man is that photo a keeper. My 5 year old daughter gets a kick outta my crying on Santa’s lap picture from the early 80’s. He’ll laugh about it someday 😉

the session that was a gift

I shot a photo session last weekend that was a beautiful gift to myself and a wonderful and timely blessing in my life. You see, I’ve lost my way these past few weeks. I’ve been feeling blue, stressed about money, a messy house that’s too small and a closet filled with nothing cute to wear….

I have thought of you often since learning of your journey through your sister in law, Denise. Merry Merry Christmas. Those boys are totally “squeezeable”. A Gran in NC

sunday sitting

It’s been a few days since I posted my confessional about how rough this past month has been and I’m happy to say that I’ve been yell free ever since. Maybe all I needed was to write about my frustrations. I’m sure that my yelling side will be back, but for now, I’m feeling like… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
