I love that you have amazing educational and fun toys for your kids! My gf does too, but she doesn’t believe in Disney! It’s not educational. I can see that, but man, it’s such a huge part of our childhoods.

chelsa and dan’s family

A year ago I photographed Chelsa, a mother of two children the same age as mine, who was in the middle of breast cancer treatment. You can see those photos here. A year later, she is the most beautiful survivor, with her hair growing back and her boys just as precious as ever. These photos…

2012 self portrait series-January

I just spent some time looking over my 2011 Self Portrait Series and it was such a great ride down memory lane (through the highs and lows) that I know I want to do it all again this year. Instead of spending time tonight summing up 2011, I’m marching straight ahead to my first self…

    These are great. So lovely!

Last year I started a 52 week portrait project and loved it, so I’m continuing it again this year. http://trulymegs.blogspot.com/search/label/52%20Week%20Project

Love that you’re continuing the self portraits this year! These are always some of my favorite posts:) Isn’t it fun to go back and look at all of the photos from 2011? I just posted my recap today!

    I’m doing a self-portrait monthly too. Here’s my year in review from 2011’s series. I haven’t taken one for Jan 2012 yet. 🙂 http://captureslife.com/2011/12/29/in-review-2011-self-portraits/

Your series from last year totally inspired me and I’m going to try and do the same this year! I am excited that you’re doing it again – it’s such a great way to keep up with you! 😀

  • Heidi GarciaJanuary 12, 2012 - 12:13 pm

I want to do them! ……

I totally slacked off with these at the end of the year, but I’m definitely going to do them again. When I started this project last January, it felt so egotistical, but after having looked back through them all last night, I’m now so glad that I did it.

  • KelliJanuary 16, 2012 - 11:45 am

I love them! The photos and the super cute kids!

sara’s senior photos

Remember Sara from last fall? She was one of my clients I sneak in during my busy season and then edit during my post holiday slow time. Bless her, she came all the way from Northern Michigan the day of her shoot and it was a bit rainy that morning. She was totally up for… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
