This is one of those photos I would normally overlook, but when I stopped and looked at it, it melted my heart. Probably just a mom thing, but this is what I walk by a million times a day. Jocelyn is on the floor, looking up from what she is doing to see what her…

vintage shopping at Possibilities, Auburn

I photographed the cutest store last weekend, owned by three very creative women and I’m so excited to share it with you. I wish we had stores like this around here. The closest thing is one where the lady pays another lady to paint every single ‘antique’ item white. Everything in the store is white. I know I could repaint it but she’s charging an arm and a leg for that white furniture.

I have that “pink dresser with the oval mirror” for my 4 yr old daughter! Except it’s not pink, it’s the natural (oak?) wood. So beautiful. Easily one of my fav pieces of furniture in my house. Looks like a fun store!

a little love for your valentine’s week

Thought I would start your Valentine’s week off with a little bit of love from the King house. We are over flowing with it. Have a great week and hopefully you’ll be surprised with smooshy kisses of your own this Valentine’s day.

Oh for Pete’s sake! She’s adorable! I love the little shoes!

where’s the snow?

A year ago we were buried under feet upon feet of snow without a day of school in sight. This year the kids had just a day or two of playing in the snow before it all melted away. That coat is ADORABLE! I know how you feel, I bought Avram two pairs of snow pants and a really nice pair of snow boots…all for nothing! It hardly even feels like it’s been winter. Blegh.

Same boat over here…I have an adorable pink snowsuit, hat, mittens, and boots. And no snow.
