Danielle Class of 2013

Oh my goodness, I was in heaven photographing beautiful Danielle’s senior photos! She’s just so beautiful and had so many great ideas for photos. (She also brought a carload of clothes so I got to play dress up!) We both ended up soaked by the end of the shoot, which was a first for me…

HEY!! I know this girl 🙂 She’s STUNNING. And your photos are absolutely beautiful as always. I bet Nicole is just dying over them. 🙂 You make me wish I had more seniors to photograph. 🙂

First day of kindergarten-we all made it!

It’s all very surreal, but we did it! We got Miles on the bus and we all got through his first day at kindergarten. Look at that handsome little man getting on the bus! Just for kicks, I got a photo of Joss with Miles’ “First day of Kindergarten” sign (with Miles’ name added afterwards.)…

My little girl (who is the teacher now) apologized for talking my ear off about her first day of school with her new class and I said, “Honey, I’ve been listening to your first day of school stories your entire life and I still love them.” You have a lifetime of enjoyment and riches coming, Betsy.

I’m jealous you got a bus photo! I was not “aloud” to take my camera to the bus stop according to Zane. 🙂 Wow…we are really in this stage with our boys aren’t we?!

my thoughts on the night before kindergarten

This sweet boy who never lets me take his picture, is heading off to kindergarten tomorrow. Yes, I’m letting him go on the bus. I’ve strapped him into a five point harness for 5 years (and probably will for another 5) and now I’m going to send him down the road in a big metal…

Dear Betsy, The pic of Miles is just breath taking ;). My Princesses are going into 8th grade & 4th grade this year and let me tell you as a Mother you always have concerns. However my favorite time is the END of the school day, they both have so much to tell me and I am busting at the seams to hear it ALL. Your Sweet Miles is going to do GREAT & so are you!! Many Blessings for a Happy & Safe School Year.

Oh Bets, how did you get here so fast? I feel like I still remember those circa ’07 shots of him in that little blue hoodie outfit popping up on your blog. Sigh. He’ll do GREAT today! Hugs to you as your baby heads off for this major milestone. I can still cough up memories of MY first day of kindergarten, so no doubt, this will be a long-term memory for Miles as well!

Preschool doesn’t start for Avram until next spring, and I’m already crying every time I talk about it! Miles is just going to love it; he’s so smart and such a great learner! You are such a good mama, Betsy.

Awe! I am crying with you just reading this. I know this has been something in your mind for awhile, now. He definitely will remember this time in his life forever! Please keep us posted on how great of a day he has today!! 🙂

Her toys, stolen by the boys.

The neighbor boy brough over a dolly for Jocelyn’s birthday last week and it was hilarious how ENTHRALLED the boys were at this new toy. Joss wasn’t so sure about them taking over her role of dolly momma. INTENSE hair brushing! Finally, poor Joss got her turn at the dolly.

Joss, be thankful you only have 1 big brother….I have 4!

Holding on tightly to the last days of summer

We are getting so close to the first day of school and we are trying to squeeze some fun out of these last carefree days. The girls next door, my mother’s helpers, stayed a bit longer today (bless them!) and had a water balloon fight with the kids. (They even filled the balloons themselves, not… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
