Since I don’t photograph weddings, I don’t get to do a lot of engagements. So it’s a special treat when I do get the chance. Kevin and Michele are getting married next year on a cruise. How awesome is that!? (Note to my single friends, I’m DYING for someone to have a destination wedding some place amazing to force us to go on a much needed vacation! Plan it and we will be there!) They had JUST gotten engaged a couple of weeks before this shoot took place. (Maybe even sooner, Michele, you might want to help me with my facts.) As a matter of fact, Kevin secretly contacted me to book me for their shoot before he popped the question. (So sweet, right?) Of course, the ring was burning a hole in his pocket and he asked her a lot sooner than he had planned. It’s always so cute when that happens.
They have such an ease together and you can just really feel their love and respect for each other.
Michele’s eyes are SERIOUSLY that blue. They were the first thing I noticed when I met her. They remind me of the amazing shade of blue the water in the ocean was on our honeymoon.
The music for this slideshow was written by John for a very dear friend of ours. She wanted music written by him to walk down the aisle to, so this song brings back very sweet memories for us. Of course that means it’s perfect music for an engagement session of two people so in love.
I hope you love your photos Kevin and Michele! It was wonderful spending an evening with you two and capturing what you two share. Have fun with all of your wedding plans, it all goes by so quickly.
