If this wasn’t my kid, I would seriously think he was at least going in the first grade. (Then again, I have always stunk at guessing ages…) Here’s our little guy, all dressed and ready to go for his first day of preschool. (So he’s two and a half years old. Am I the only person who can’t believe he looks so grown up?)

Our little guy woke up totally excited to go to preschool and walked right through the doors of the classroom without even looking back. Well, he did stop to ring the imaginary doorbell first.
John and I just looked at each other like, “Now what?” We were expecting tears, and an emotional goodbye. Nope, none of that. As we walked out of the preschool it kind of felt like the baby years were saying to us, “Don’t let the door hit ya…”
I have to say, this child already has more self assurance than I probably ever did at this age. I STILL remember screaming so much during swimming lessons when I was a kid that they put me in the baby pool with the toddlers. So way to go Miles! I’m beyond thrilled that he’s so excited to get out there and experience new things. (I’m also so excited to go pick him up in a little under two hours from now.)
As always, more on this later, just had to pop this photo up asap.
Have a great day everybody!
