Here’s a little peek in my afternoon with Holly, Nate and Evan at the orchard last week.
Look at this sweet little punkin! I love this photo. It’s like snips and snails meets a fairy tale. (Did that make any sense? You know, with his little cap on backwards and the sweet curiosity of a little boy amongst the setting that looks straight out of a magical forest.)
This is what I love about this photo: Holly’s gorgeous laughing smile (laughing smiles are my favorite kind of smiles!), Evan playing drums on daddy’s head and Nate, with his bazillion watt smile.

PS This is for the fans of the show How I Met Your Mother: The evening I did this shoot I watched an episode from season 3 where all the characters reveal what they find annoying about each other. One of the complaints was that one of the characters, Marshall, Sings everything. So guess who has one of his songs, “Apple Orchard, Banana Cat Dancer, 8663″ in their head? Yep, ME! Thought it was doubly funny that I had JUST been to an apple orchard. Even Miles is singing it! That is seriously my new favorite episode. It’s HILARIOUS!!! One last quote…. “Where did you get those pretzels? Ace Hardware?”
Ok, I’ll shush for the people who haven’t seen the show. If you haven’t, go rent the DVD’s. It’s awesome.
Hope your weekend has been great! we cleaned all day, so I’m thankful we still get one more day till the week starts again.
