It’s been the most grey yucky week since….well, last month. So my camera has captured nothing awesome lately. However, a little recording of Miles just popped up on my itunes and I HAD to share it with you.
It was from about a month ago when Miles had the croup. (To state it simply, croup is a viral infection of the voice box, so it makes your kid sound awful and makes breathing difficult. When it first hits, it’s really scary.) Considering most of our friend’s whose kids have had the croup spent at least one night in the ER, we really didn’t have it that bad. He sounded sick as a frog though, and it was no picnic, but we got through it unscathed.
Crank up your speakers and take a listen to Miles, being just as sweet as can be and trying to talk, despite his lack of voice. (He kind of sounds like he’s got the Benjamin Button disease…) I guarantee you’ll say, “Bless his heart!” at least three times. (I just used a random photo of Miles I had for the video. We were so busy doing steam showers and popping him out in the cold air to keep his airway open that the camera was not out that week he had it.)
