impromptu dance party

I have been wanting to do more writing lately, for the blog, but by the end of the day, I’m so tired, that I have no energy left. I’ve had lots of things floating around in my head though, so winter will be here soon enough and I’ll more time to write. (Hopefully.) However, I do have a photo to share that has plenty of energy of it’s own. It’s from a new thing we have started, which are dance parties on our new living room floor. Miles is such a ball of energy that we put on some music to try to use up some of his energy before we wind down for nap time or bed. Somedays, it’s the only exercise I get, so YIPPEE for dance parties!

PS Miles’ shirt says “A is for astronaut.” If you ask Miles he says, “It says, A is for robot.”

PPS Miles and I saw my friend Amy today and she asked Miles what he wanted for Christmas. Miles said, “Cars and Games.” Amy asked, “What kind of cars and games?” Miles replied with, “I already told Santa.” Wow, I guess Miles has people on a need to know basis regarding his gifts, with Santa being the only person who needs to know! (Oh my, this little guy KILLS ME!)

I’ve been sooooo tired lately. After a night of staying up until 2 AM (very dumb) I decided the next day that the first step I can take toward being a better mom (wife, photographer and friend too) is getting more sleep. So with that, I’m shutting down and heading to bed. Nighty night!
