Holy cats, I’ve been busy. Crazy busy and I’m not even one of the photographers I bow down to who do Christmas photography sessions through December. My last session was supposed to be on November 18th and it didn’t end up happening due to schedules and weather. Even with that session off the calendar I have STILL been feeling behind the 8 ball. I guess having 80% of the flooring in our home replaced WHILE I have still been trying to wrap up my work year just has thrown me off kilter. (I can’t believe I did that!) I’m soooo close to getting back on track as I’m finally wrapping up client product orders, but not quite there yet. Our tree is standing without lights and my Christmas cards have not been designed, let alone even ordered yet. (Thank you to my vendor who works straight through the holiday!) No need to judge me, I do it ten times a day! Just haven’t had the time to get it all done. Hence, the lack of blogging. LOTS of things are going on over here in my world (like LOTS of things) and soon, I’ll have you pull up a chair and hear all about it. I think my tree and Christmas cards are going to take precedence, so it might take a while for me to catch everybody up with all the new thing going on in our life.
For now, I’m going to gaze upon the extra skin phenomenon of Whisper and Stamp.

Once upon a time they were morbidly obese pugs literally twice their size. (Stamp looked like a bloated tick. But I’m telling you, she was the cutest bloated tick ever.) They went on an amazing weight loss plan of living with my inlaws for 6 months (lots of exercise with their dogs) while I lived in Minneapolis for my late husband’s stem cell transplant. When we came home from transplant, we couldn’t believe how small the pugs were!
Pugs have lots of extra skin usually, but we think Whisper and Stamp, with their crazy weight loss history have a crazy amount of skin rolls. You should see how much you can move their little cheeks when you pinch them.
Ok, you can tell I either have ZERO photos in my blogging folder ready to go or that I’m seriously losing my mind with holiday stress considering I’m blogging about the extra skin my pugs have. Please forgive me. (Though if you know me, you know this type of randomness is pretty typical.)
PS I almost deleted the part about how my tree is not decorated yet. Oh the shame! I’m keeping it real though!
