a peek into our halloween night

I’m busy, busy, busy tonight, but I HAD to get some photos up on the blog for the grandma’s to see Halloween night. I threw together a quickie little short slideshow that, captures a peek into our evening, plus shows one of the things I love the most about Halloween, getting to visit our neighbors.

Here’s our little scarecrow, eyeing his first glimpse of trick or treaters coming up behind me.

My mom came to hand out candy and totally dressed the part. (Can anybody guess where I get my love of Halloween from?)

How sweet are these pups greeting us at our neighbor’s door? More from them in the slideshow.

For those of you not in Indiana, it was a pretty cold Halloween. So we didn’t get to trick or treat as long as last year, but we still got PLENTY of candy.

The music playing in the slideshow is very appropriate considering I had it on repeat for 24 hours straight. 😉 (I’m really not joking either. LOVE this song! It’s timeless.)

Hope you all had an awesome weekend! I can’t believe it’s November. I’m so sad to see October go!

Looks like he scored some great treats, but there was one thing missing. Where are your and John’s costumes? I love the picture of your mom, you and miles – all those happy dimples – Happy Halloween!

Ohhhh I miss Halloween in Fort Wayne so much! Not a single trick-or-treater here….would you believe NONE of Jason’s kids have ever been trick or treating?! I bet Miles loved getting to wear his costume again!

Okay, all the MORE reason I love you to pieces…I love, love LOVEEEEE Monster Mash. Like, it’s total tradition every year to bust that song out and start doing my “MOnster Mash” dance (which, for the unfamiliar, is a lot like the Twist -haha). Also, wow, I see you in your mom’s smile here!!!! 🙂

PS – Still CANNOT believe you made Miles’ costume! So awesome!
