an easy way to give

My heart is breaking for Japan, but I haven’t been able to sit down and eloquently put put my feelings into words. There are many wonderful bloggers though who have and who are passing on a great organization that is helping. So I’m going to shush and let them and their words inspire you today.

Click here to read Tara Whitney’s touching post on her reaction to Japan and how you can help.

My friend Gail has also written some inspirational words on how just a little bit from many can help.

This is supposed to be a day of silence for bloggers for Japan, and I mean no disrespect posting today, but I wanted to take the opportunity to pass along a deal that is ONLY going on for just the rest of TODAY to help Japan. Living Social, a website similar to Groupon, (but without the really bad Superbowl commercials) is doing this promotion today through the American Red Cross.

CLICK HERE to give $5 to the Red Cross and Living Social will MATCH IT.

So there ya go. Instead of your coffee to go plus tip, you can send it to Japan and it can get matched. Thanks for considering!

Also, thank you to all the wonderful bloggers out there spreading the love for Japan!
