I haven’t had much personal time lately as my hands have been full around here, but I had to pop some photos up here of life around the King house.
There are lots of photos of Jocelyn in the exersaucer. She LOVES to sit in there and watch her brother, which is probably what is happening here. (BTW, my house has that gross red color that everybody painted their house circa 1999, so in the afternoon, all of my photos come out super red, no mater how much I try to fix it.)
Here she is trying out a headband she was wearing to a wedding that weekend. She smiled as soon as I put it on her head. I’m not typically a mom that puts but flowered headbands on her head, but once I did, I’m now hooked. John does not approve of this new interest, so if anyone wants to enable this new interest, feel free to send headbands! ;-D
She loves that floor gym thing too. I swear, that was a $12 purchase at a garage sale and has been AWESOME. I remember wishing I had one when Miles was a baby, but was trying to not buy a bunch of baby stuff. Silly me.
Here she is laughing at Whisper, who was walking up to her. (Whisper and Joss are BFF already, which is just precious!)
Miles got his first science kit for Christmas where he got to mix colors and make crystals. He LOVED it and I couldn’t believe how well he was able to use the little pipettes to suck up the colored water to put in the tiny test tubes. By the way, at breakfast this morning he was able to explain the concept of how water can be a solid, liquid and a gas. The kid BLOWS my mind.
Oh hey, it’s Jossy in the exersaucer again. Oh her eyes, how they twinkle.
As I was getting ready to meet a friend for Coffee, I snapped a quick blanket photo of Joss. Here she is, ready to go! (This is so my baby style. Comfy and cozy. Raise your hand if you are jealous of those ruched sweat pants. I am!)
Oh and yes, Jocelyn smiles all the time, unless an old lady she doesn’t know leans in to say hi. That scares the crap out of her.
Oh wait, let’s try a hat.
Ok, it’s too big, but dang it she’s cute. (Thanks for the hat, Jes!)
Thought I would finish up with Jocelyn chatting with daddy one evening, before bedtime.
No time to chat, just wanted to pop up some photos. I’ll write more soon. Have a great weekend!
She is getting so big!! I must admit I’m not a big fan of the flowered headbands, but I hope John liked the one I made 🙂
P.S. We really do need to get J & your dad together. J got a guidebook to trees and birds in the mail today and FLIPPED.
Such cute, happy kids! I so wish we lived closer, I have a feeling Jack & Miles would totally hit it off!
She’s a beauty! How can John not approve of the flower?! I’ve seen some gaudy ones but that is just stinkin cute! She looks so much like you with the floppy hat on, she must have a tiny little head, or I have forgotten how small babies really are! 🙂
OMGosh! Jocelyn looks a-dor-able in that headband and hat! Tell Daddy that a girl liked her accessories! I love lavender on her, especially. You are having so much fun! P.S. I also found out adding cinnamon to your coffee grounds also packs a ton of antioxidants!
Oh no…I so love headbands on girls! I might have to get Jocelyn one from some of my high school girls who make them!
