After I write a depressing post like my last one I try to hop on as soon as I can afterward to say, “I’m ok! I’m not huddled in a corner with a tub of Ben & Jerry’s.” (Perhaps with a French Vanilla cone, but not a whole tub.)
So here’s a little bit of summer-ness and strange-ness from my house.
I know I photograph Miles’ toes all the time, but I just can’t NOT capture them as much as I can. I walk by those little peapod toes and I want to EAT them up.
So here you go, Miles’ summer feet eating outside on our back patio. I think he’ll be 16 and I’ll still be fascinated with his feet. I think I stop for a moment and think, “Where will these feet take him someday?” I then realize how fast he will grow and wishing I could slow time down a bit, I capture what I can in my own way.
Another view of that chair, a lovely hand-me down from my mother in law, (Andy’s mom) with our opportunistic pug, Stamp, deftly swiping a left over morsel. Yes, she’s being bad, but it’s HILARIOUS how far she can wrap her tongue to catch a taste. Yes, you can be grossed out by this, but you should really be more grossed out by the fact that this really doesn’t gross us out.
Alright, so I’m fine. Thanks for checking in! Have a great weekend!
Glad you’re doing ok. Cute pic of Miles’ feet, lol. I should grab a pic of some seriously dirty little boy feet one of these days, they require the hose sometimes before he’s allowed in the house. LOL
I think most anyone who loves a dog in their life won’t be grossed out. 😉 Heck, one of our foster dogs took a drink of my coffee the other day and I kept on drinking it…okay, wait, that may have crossed a line. Sorry! Such great pics of everyday life, love it! =)
Oh, I love those pugs! 🙂 There is a lady on our street that has two pugs and everytime I see her out walking them I think of you guys.
love the toes and i love dog people….that doesn’t gross me out in the least!!!
I find myself going to this website daily to check out your life. Your attitude about life, and your photos and commentary on the everyday moments make me stop and give myself a daily reminder. Thanks for the encouragement, it makes my heart feel good!!!
Could you put two cuter photos together? Don’t you love how dogs help clean up messes?!
