Thanks for hanging in there with the two posts of my walls. I have just had some very blank walls for a lonnng time so I was excited and wanted to share. Back to regular blogging!
To get things rolling on some sneak peaks of Cassie & Jason’s wedding photos, I thought I would start off with one that is alllll John. He met Jason, his dad and his groomsmen at the Northrup High School’s baseball field for some wedding day homerun derby. If I (or for that matter, John) knew anything about baseball I would totally give some killer commentary on the play by play of the event. However, we are clueless, so we’ll let the photos do all the talking. I will say that Jason and his family know A LOT about baseball and are all realllly good at it, so perhaps they will leave me a few comments and help us out.
Cassie, I bet you think this photo of Jason’s concentrated face is adorable. I know you! You do, don’t you!
Jason’s dad was there to play as well. John said that baseball is very much a family affair for them.
Cassie’s brother, Paul, was able to tear himself away from setting up for the reception to get to the game. I think he was much more in his element here than setting up centerpieces. Paul is THE SWEETEST brother ever. He was so there for both Cassie and Jason. Love that guy!
I love this photo John captured of Jason. He looks so happy and relaxed, totally ready to get married in a few hours.
So as John was taking these photos of Jason and his guys, I was with Cassie and the girls getting all beautiful. (They were, not me! There will be proof of that later…) So photos of the girls primping time coming soon with a little bit of my life mixed in.
These are great. Question…how far our and what lens were you using for the images straight on to the batter. You brave souls.
a pic with jooooel, “big brother” joel! and his big teeth. awesome! i am beyond excited to see more pics!
John was shooting with a 70-200 2.8 and yes, he was afraid he was going to get hit in the face (or lens.) He was behind a net that he would duck behind if he had to. Many times he thought the ball was RIGHT THERE in front of him and he would jump, but of course, it wasn’t. : )
