can we do Halloween again tomorrow?

We had an AWESOME Halloween night! I figured Miles would walk with us to a couple houses and it really wouldn’t be that big of an evening. Um, nope! The opposite! He walked all by himself up to the houses, ran the doorbell, said, “Ding dong!” instead of trick or treat and picked out candy like a pro. It was SOOOOO cute! Also, he totally flirted with some teenage girls giving out candy. They asked if he wanted any candy and he literally flickered his eyelashes at that, scrunched up his shoulders as if to say, “I don’t know…” and when all eyes were on him he erupted into an adorable “BOO!” My heart about completely exploded at that moment. Everybody erupted into a fit of laughter. When he wasn’t saying ding dong for the doorbell he was saying “Woof” since he was a puppy. We had along some friends and their four year old who actually got tired before Miles did, he could have gone all night!

So here he is, in a snuggly outfit that I just couldn’t get enough of! (Can we PLEASE trick or treat again tomorrow? PLEASE?)

So I have to admit, the costume is cuter without the puppy backpack, and honestly, we didn’t even need it. He was suddenly a big boy tonight who walked on the sidewalk and didn’t dart in the street.

Miles would have used a wheel barrel for his candy bag, if I had let him.

Whisper had to try to check out Miles’ stash.

Another highlight was when Miles stopped by his babysitter’s house and there were two other kids there from his babysitting gang. One of them was a rocker with a play guitar. He rocked out for a bit and Miles started dancing the little jig he does. Once again, my heart exploded. Such a fun and happy night!

Ok, I gotta run, I have Milk Duds stuck in my molars. HAPPY HALLOWEEN everybody!!! My most favorite holiday of the year did not disappoint, it just went by wayyyy to fast. If anybody wants us to come trick or treat at your house again tomorrow, you won’t have to twist our arm.

Cutest.puppy.EVER! That is the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a long time. 🙂 And wasn’t the weather perfect?! It’s the first Halloween in the Fort that I can remember that the costumes didn’t have to fit over a snowsuit because it was soooo cold. Yay!

Way too cute! =) Our little guy LOVES dogs, so he would dig such a costume and have fun barking all night. 😉
