Claire found me on facebook through another senior I had shot. (thank you Paul!) She contacted me and we chatted about photos but didn’t nail anything down. Then I ran into her randomly at Sunny Schick camera shop and I recognized her and we chatted a bit more. We figured it was meant to be to run into each other out of all places! She just so happens to work at one of my favorite coffee shops AND I managed/lifeguarded at the neighborhood pool she lived when she was kid. So it feels like we have ten little connections going on. Fort Wayne is a small place sometime. 😉

So here is Claire, heading into her senior year with Northwestern (and a couple more universities) on her mind.

I LOVE this one. She looks so classic the way the lace of her shirt frames her face and her earrings just so happen to match the color of the wood wall behind her. Claire, you are GORGEOUS!! Such a natural beauty.

I have to say, I’m pretty proud that I got this big of a laugh within the first 5 minutes of the shoot. Yippee! It usually takes a while for everybody (me included!) to get warmed up, but Claire was ready to roll from the first shot.

More to come later Claire. We had a great time shooting you and hanging out Sunday afternoon. Best of luck and keep us posted on which university ends up getting luck to have you! Oh, and I’m sure you’ll be seeing me soon at your coffee shop, that black cherry vanilla chai latte you speak of sounds YUMMY and like my new addiction.
