dan, chelsa & michael: the movie

My first shoot of the season was kicked off with an adorable little family of three, not too far from where John, Miles and I are at right now. Their son is nearing two so I felt right at home with this little sweetie. Oh, and speaking of home, keep your eyes open for the beautiful artwork they have. If I’m correct, it’s a local artist here in Fort Wayne.

I’ll shush and let you get to the slideshow, complete with music written by John.

Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. Michael was in a great mood and up for anything. I’m not sure my little Miles would have posed on his belly like this.

Popped collars on little boys = CUTE!

I don’t know about you, but we can’t go anywhere without at least one, “1,2,3 JUMP!” when we are out and about with our little one. So I figured we had to try this shot.

This is another shot I have wanted to try for awhile too. They were all great sports and Michael LOVED it.

Another thing I knew I wanted to capture was story time. If you have a toddler, you have gotten your fair share of reading time in.

Though Michael was pretty interested in my camera. 😉

HELLO LONG LASHES!!!

At the end of every family shoot, once the little ones are off playing, I get one of mom and dad together. They are some of my favorite shots! They probably haven’t had their photo taken together since their wedding and now it’s a whole different story. The love is the same, but you add in all the history that comes with working as a team to bring your child into the world. It’s such a beautiful thing, don’t you think?

Thank you Dan and Chelsa for inviting me to come into your home and capture this precious time in your life!

Hi Betsy! It’s probably just me, but for whatever reason, your blog looks perfectly normal and the text is all there, but with no pictures! Oh no! It’s probably something on our end, but I wanted to let you know, just in case. 🙂
