Ahhh, it’s been an awesome weekend. (Insert sarcastic tone here.) Last night John and I literally laid in bed all night watching mindless movies and groaning over our belly aches from the belly bug that has gotten both of us. I will say, I have never been sick of the same ailment at the same time as a spouse so I have to say, it was actually kind of nice that if I had to be sick, we could be sick together. I know that sounds crazy, but you both feel like crap, so one of you isn’t being the wet blanket because you both are!

Today we had to cancel an Easter trip to Indy to see some family so we could lay on the floor and moan while Miles roamed around and played with his little easter “bucket.” (Yep, his easter basket was a plastic bucket from Grandma. You won’t see me perusing Pottery Barn for Easter baskets. I’m not a big Easter decor person.) Here’s Miles and his Easter “basket.” The awesome thing is he just started walking really well a couple days ago so watching him walk around with his basket was the cutest thing. Look at those happy eyes!

We did go hang out with my family as we went to visit my dad at his work today. (He was filling in for someone today and wouldn’t usually be working.) His work has an area of cool stuff like video games, putt put, pool, etc. for the employee’s down time and for visiting families so the grandkids went to play for a bit. John and I were going to stay home but when I heard my dad had hid some eggs around the dining area for Miles, how could we not go!? (Is that the cutest thing ever?)

I figured Miles wouldn’t hunt for eggs.

Guess I was wrong! He was an awesome egg hunter!

Hope everybody had a nice Easter. I have to stop blogging and get to work! I have a nutty super busy week coming up. So if you think of it, email me in a day or so and remind me to breathe. I kind of forget to do that when I get busy. 😉 (My yoga instructor reading this is smiling and nodding in agreement right now.)

P.P.S I am stating this so I can someday fix this, but I am totally aware that the categories on my blog are all wonky. It says there is one blog under the category of “Bobbi.” Um, yeah right. I’ve just gotten super lazy, so I’ll fix that on some rainy day when I have nothing else going on. 😉 Just randomly wanted to mention that for any blog perfectionist out there. (Like, say, Bobbi.) ; )
