fun with long hair

Miles’ hair is SOOOOO long that sometimes, I can’t help but have some fun with it. One evening, as we were wrapping up dinner, I wanted to see if his hair was long enough for a little “whale spout” pony tail. As John ignored me, I proceeded to find out that indeed, his hair was long enough.

When it was time to wash his hands, Miles discovered how HILARIOUS he looked.

Oh we LOVE to laugh in our house!!!!

(I get asked all the time, so I’ll tell you, that’s a Canon 5D and my 50 1.4, which is pretty much on my camera all the time.)

Then I got a little bit (ok, a lot) of hair wax and went nuts with it.

Miles’ hair is starting to get curly like mine and it’s AWESOME. I may not be a fan of my wild hair, but I LOVE his.

It was super hard to photograph Miles that evening, but then I captured this funky photo. Anybody else see a certain resemblance?

Alright, I gotta run. For some reason, I always get the urge to blog JUST as I’m running out the door to a photoshoot. It’s a GORGEOUS day for another awesome senior shoot! Woo hoo!!!!

PS Miles is getting his hair cut this week…

The black and white photos of Miles looking in the mirror are cute! In those shots, he REALLY looks like you in your baby photos, don’t you think?

Miles has the best cheeks! He could be bald, have an afro, or a mohawk and I’d still have a hard time looking past his cheeks!!!

ADORABLE pictures of sweet Miles;) And, yes, I do have trouble viewing the photographs. I normally can’t view them until at least a day or two after you post them. The blog writing appears, just not the photos;(
