I still haven’t pulled Miles’ old baby stuff down from the attic yet to see what I can use for King Baby 2.0. (I still have a few more days of work before I can jump into baby stuff.) However, I already know one thing I’m not going to be able to hand down to the new baby…

Yep, I’m gonna need a new Boppy. All those months that I used it for Miles (If you don’t know, it’s a pillow that helps you support the baby while you feed them) the pugs would longingly stare at it’s snuggly softness, wanting so badly to cuddle up in it. I actually remained strong, keeping them off of it while Miles used it. As Miles grew, and we stopped using it, I just couldn’t resist letting them curl up in it. I mean, seriously, LOOK at how sweet they are all cuddled up in it!

A girlfriend said, “You know, those things are washable, right?” Um, have you SMELLED my pugs lately? Well, I guess only a few of you reading this blog have actually smelled my pugs, but they STINK like junk yard dogs. (I know, you would never imagine something so cute to smell so badly.) Plus, pug hair is something you just can’t rid a pillow of once they have taken ownership of it. Yea, once something is a dog pillow, it’s always a dog pillow.

So King Baby 2.0 might have to wear sleepers with spit up stains (Sorry, that’s so gross, I know…) but he or she will get a brand spankin new boppy! Yippee!

Then, down the road, the pugs will each have their own!

PS Boppy should just sell these to the dog bed market too, dontcha think? I mean, who doesn’t want their dog to feel hugged all day long while they are at work? Plus, you can buy covers that zip off for easy cleaning, so even if you don’t have a baby, you might now have a reason to go to Babies R Us. Though if you don’t have kids, don’t stay too long in that store, you might freak out. It’s a little overwhelming there. I remember registering there for baby stuff for Miles back in the day and I thought John and I were going to end up huddled in the corner in the fetal position we were so overwhelmed. It’s nice to be more laid back this time around, though ask me if I’m still this laid back a couple months from now…
