We had a lazy Labor Day weekend that included an afternoon in Half Moon Bay. I was expecting it to be around 65 degrees that day, typical for that beach, so I packed fleece jackets for us all and wore pants, but it ended up being so gorgeous and warm, I wish I had my bathing suit! The sky was this amazing blue that looks straight out of photo shop, at least to my midwestern eye! It was one of those perfect days that flying by the seat of our pants worked perfectly, even on a holiday weekend. A late, lazy start, not so bad traffic and a cozy dinner in town to wrap it all up. It was exactly what we needed after the hustle and bustle that back to school days bring. I took my professional camera with me and shooting again was just as refreshing for me as it was for the kids playing in the sand.
