My dear friend Gail had gorgeous baby boy, Dean, last fall and we always knew he would make his first appearance at my studio at the magical (and oh so adorable) six month mark. (My FAVORITE age to photograph babies!) Oh my goodness, Dean is the happiest and cutest little guy! He’s so alert, adorable, expressive and easy going. These photos had me smiling ear to ear when I saw them pop up on my screen. It’s so wonderful to see Gail blessed with the precious family she and her sweet husband Nick deserve. I’m going to shush and let this beautiful family charm you. I think I can hear the grandma’s squealing right now!

Mom tip: If this shoot hasn’t convinced you, I always tell new moms to choose the six to seven month baby photos to splurge on. Babies aren’t usually crawling away yet at that age, but can usually sit up and give all sorts of expressive smiles. Also, just as Gail and a few of my other clients have done, always bring a simple diaper cover too. I’m a fan of showing off some of that sweet, soft baby skin and if babies are grumpy, getting baby naked usually solves a bad mood.

Thank you Gail for coming to Fort Wayne and bringing Dean to my studio. Always wonderful to soak up that sweet boy and see you three! Can’t wait to see you again soon!
