introducing…India!

I LOVE it when a high school senior reads my blog. I’m pretty impressed when with all the different types of media flying about these days, my blog lands in the lap of people leading very different lives than mine and it sticks. I figured teens wouldn’t be that interested in a mom of a 2 year old who balances (or tries to balance) also working as a photographer. So when India mentioned to me during our shoot that she liked my new branding, despite the one negative comment I got on my blog, I was impressed! Here’s a girl with an eye for detail! (Considering she’s a clothing designer, I shouldn’t have been suprised at her eye for detail.) Thanks for tuning in India, and any other people that I might think I would bore.

Ok, moving on to what India and perhaps you, are really coming her for. Her sneak peek from her shoot last week. It’s always a lot of pressure choosing the sneek peek. This is their first glimpse of how their shoot went. There are so many to pick, what will it be? Serious look? Glam pose? Dreamy? Well, India is very creative, easy going and loves to laugh, so this one jumped out at me right away.

In other news, the new baseball stadium here in Fort Wayne has been the big news around here lately. (That, and how our local zoo was named one of the top 10 zoos in the country by Parent’s magazine, as seen in this article. Take THAT, Indianapolis! Not even their dolphin show could beat our zoo. Woo hoo!) So anyway, I made a mental note to get a hold of the baseball schedule so I wouldn’t get caught shooting downtown during one of the games. Guess who I ended up shooting downtown, on OPENING NIGHT. Yep, India! So much for planning ahead. It was actually pretty cool to see so much life downtown.

I gotta run, what started out as a lazy Sunday is turning into a busier day than thought. Is it just me or once it hits noon on Sunday, time just starts to FLY by?

What a pretty girl, can’t wait to see the rest of the shoot. Now, you gotta let go of that one negative comment, girl! That’s life and that’s art, always open to critics.
