Jocelyn had her first day of preschool today in the very same classroom and with the same teacher that Miles had. (Here’s Miles’ first day!) I snapped some shots of her, ready for school with backpack and name tag on and of course, her favorite pug, Whisper, wanted in on it too.
Daddy made her special sign for today. He had to draw it many times as Jocelyn kept erasing the pictures he drew.
My sweet internet friend, Jen has a daughter named Jocelyn as well and sent me the sweetest personalized hand me downs, including this adorable backpack. Joss LOVES it!
Thanks to the two hour delay we got to say hi to the neighbor girls next door and snap a quick photo. (The pugs LOVE the girls, they proceeded to try to follow them to the bus stop.)
This is how Joss started her day at preschool, with a big, warm hug.
Miles got one too!
She walked right in and got busy playing. No tears or even asking for me. So glad she feels so safe and secure to play and learn.
I think I swept the floor, did the breakfast dishes and it was time to go get her and go have lunch with my mom and my aunt. Yay for a great first day!
She loved the sign outside school. I had to pull her away from erasing the whole sign with her fingers.
Gonna be a big year for all of us. I now have TWO school, kindermusik and gymnastic schedules to keep up with. Whew! Excited to see all the new friends we all make this year and how we all grow.
