So things have been a bit topsy turvy around here this past week. We’ve been juggling running our two businesses while caring for Miles during his illness all while I’m Jedi mind tricking myself that I wasn’t getting sick. Let’s just say, when Mommy is feeling crappy, she’s not so worried about how many cookies we eat or if somebody is climbing on the furniture.

Though to be truthful, these photos were taken before anybody got sick. Miles was sitting there eating a cookie, in his new Paperlili T shirt (Thank you Cristy!) and I thought I would snap some photos. Then the little monkey in him came out and he wanted to crawl and climb all over. I think I got more photos of his T shirt and jeans than anything. Eh, I figure someday I’ll want to remember those little things too. So here’s a snapshot of life around our house…sick or not.

Btw, there are these organic oreo-like cookies that are 100 times better than regular Oreos. We LOVE them.

Miles is pretty much over his cold now and back to his old acrobatic antics again.

Me? Oh, I might be resigning myself to a life addicted to Puffs Plus. Honestly though, I’m thinking I keep getting sick because I just might eat too much junk food. (Thus those cookies… Even though they are organic, they still have sugar in them.) I’m that mom that sneaks slushies at Target, Twizzlers and ice cream sandwiches behind Miles and John’s back while they eat healthy. So we’ll see. I’m working on sleeping more and eating better. Summer is here now so I need to wrap up these spring “sickies” (not to mention putting on a swimsuit soon) and get a move on with my summer.

Gotta run, now where’s that box of Puffs?
