So thanksgiving has come and gone and after all of my complaining, it ended up being really nice. Best of all, Miles was VERY excited and as we were packing up the car to head to grandma’s house, he had a mental check list of all the things we were packing and very excitedly checking them off as they went in the car. So, so far Miles has great thanksgiving memories. Yippee! I’m glad I hadn’t passed on my bad attitude about thanksgiving. There’s still hope for me to things around for turkey day in our family.

I’ve had a super busy weekend filled with visiting with out of town friends and today, getting the tree up. I had to hop on and mention that little Jocelyn has been in our life, in her own way, for little over a year now. Last thanksgiving day, as we were running around the house getting ready to host Thanksgiving, we found out I was pregnant! Yes, call me crazy for taking a break from peeling potatoes to go take a prego test, but man, I either had the worst case of PMS or I was pregnant. Woo wee, I was H O R M O N A L!!!! Thank goodness, all my wacko crazy mood swings weren’t just because I was crazy, I could blame them on the baby in my belly. Yippeee!

Oh and yes, I did tell my family that day at thanksgiving dinner. Actually, we let Miles tell everybody the news. My poor mom, she had to keep it a secret for the next month and not spill the beans on facebook until I announced the news. Indeed, we had so much to be thankful for last year and even more so this year.

So here’s our baby Joss, who on the one year anniversary of our finding out we were pregnant with her, also turned four months old. So today’s post is all about Joss. Here’s her favorite way to suck her “thumb.”
