look who’s five months!

I should be posting Christmas photos, but there’s so many of those, and just a few of my little Jossy B. in the bath. Plus, she just turned five months, kick starting my very favorite baby age range of 5-9 months. She is SO much fun, I can barely even stand it. Here she is, the most delicious little happy baby around.

Everybody keeps asking us what color her eyes are. I swear they are purple! I know, I know, not possible, but thats what they seem like to us, so we’ll see. They will probably be hazel like mine. I’m a bit subjective here, but I think she is just PERFECT in every way.

She is laughing, smiling, cooing and babbling like crazy, sitting up strong and straight supported, rolling over, reaching for things galore and even playing peek a boo, which I caught on video the other night. I barely get anything done except baby gaze when she’s around. These five months have just flown by.

BTW, speaking of birthdays, Miles is wrapping up his third year and will be four in almost a month! He is already planning his birthday party and has a guest list already in the works. I’ll give you a hint, if you are in my family and an adult or an adult friend of mine without kids, you are on the list. Yes, his guest list is entirely made up of of all adults, much to my chagrin. He said he wants an all grown up party with no kids. Hmmmmm, guess I still have another couple of years before I get to go nuts throwing a kid party. I’m telling you, Miles is 3 going on 40, but that’s another blog post. Seriously, the phrases that come out of this kid’s mouth are from another era. I caught him saying, “Indeed” tonight. Again, I need another blog post on my deep little Miles.

I better get to bed. This holiday season has KICKED my butt. Honestly, I was so caught off guard by how hard creating Christmas magic would be with two kids that I will be starting my holiday prep in June this year.

She is just a doll baby with the most squeezable, lovable cheeks!!! BTW: I knit up a hat to play around with on Joss and Mallory when we hit up the studio next week (checking in with Trace now to confirm the date)

And that Miles…I can’t wait to see him again. I miss that kid. Hope I make the VIP invite list 😉

PS – I was a lot like him at that age. OBSESSED with grown-ups…(ask my older siblings whose high school senior friends got to spend a LOT of time with a certain 3 year old!)

She’s such a pretty baby! That’s so funny about Miles wanting a grown up party!
