When we decided to move into our studio space, I figured it would be the winter months that would make me thankful for having a roof over my head to shoot in. I had forgotten about how oppressive Indiana summers can be and at even the early hour of 8:30 AM, we were all thankful to get in from the heat for Lyla’s session. What a precious time it was photographing this lovely family of three. You won’t believe how many different faces there are of baby Lyla! She is so expressive and has so many different looks! While her parents were gathering up their belongings at the end of their shoot, I got to snuggle with her and read a book to keep her busy. Oh my goodness, she’s just as cuddly as ever! Such a beautiful little love bug!
Here’s a slideshow of the highlights from their session with music written by my husband, John.
I hope Lyla’s family loves her photos! I’m so thankful they invited me to capture this precious time in their life.
She’s a total cutie pie! 🙂
Oh Betsy, these are just wonderful! Thank you again for capturing these amazing photos of my family! Especially, my little Lyla.
Betsy, Your pictures are fabulous. I am Lyla’s Grandma, Serenity’ mother. I loved all the pictures, but especially the pictures with your husbands song he wrote. I cried when I saw it. Thank you for such a nice surprise.
