Matt’s family

Well, look at this sweet little cutie snuggled up between her parents. Who is that little dolly?

It’s Ainsley, the daughter of local (and awesome) photographer, Matt, of Mat Hall Photography. Lookin good Matt! I know when I photograph my own husband, you can just look at him and know he’s such a nice guy. Matt is so the same way! Look at those eyes, can’t you totally tell he’s SUCH a sweet, caring guy?

Ever since I stepped into the professional photography world, I have been greeted with open arms by some of the coolest and most talented people. So today, I would like you to get to know one of those people and his family. Here’s Matt, their sweet little girl Ainsley and his wife, Sarah. I LOVE this photo. Matt looks so proud, Ainsley is looking right at me and Sarah is captivated by her baby. Just perfect.

One of the fun things about photographing Matt’s family was that I got to revisit that time when your child is just stepping out of that newborn stage and into that baby phase where they really start interacting with you. It’s such a fun time and their excitement for it was contagious.

Oh, and of course their expressions are the best! You never know what you’ll get and I know Matt and Sarah will have a blast seeing all the cute faces she was giving me that day. That headband is so CUTE!

Awwww, Matt is such a sweet (and enthusiastic) daddy.

Sarah is a cloth diapering mama so in between shots we couldn’t help but gab a bit about cloth diapering and the latest stuff going on in that world. We had been chatting in the months before Ainsley was born discussing which ones are the best to go with. (Cloth diapering is a WHOLE OTHER WORLD of shopping, trust me…)

When going for a shot of mom and baby, Ainsley just needed some loving instead of a pose. So here’s a sweet moment between Sarah and her baby girl.

Hey Ainsley, you’re the center of their world, did you know that? I’m pretty sure you do.
