Here are all the great (and some not so great) things we did in July:
Swimming lessons for Miles, four times a week, across town, for two weeks.
I went back to work. (Yay!) Jocelyn waves happily as I go. She doesn’t even cry.
We had three living spaces painted.
Realized that I’m now allergic to paint. It makes my lips, tongue mouth and throat burn for days.
Hauled two massive chairs back and forth to the re-upholsterer twice.
Disassembled, taped, sanded, sealed garage with plastic, primed and painted an upright piano.
Celebrated Jocelyn turning one.
Today we had to keep everybody out of the living room for a day while it was styled for the HGTV makeover. (Miles & the neighbor boy kept walking in dripping wet from the slip n slide!)
Had my first shoot tonight, which was an hour away (WONDERFUL to be back!) and tomorrow I’m….
THROWING A BIRTHDAY PARTY.
John said to me today, “We need to do less.” Yes, I agree hon. Soon…soon, now go sand the piano, only one more coat to go!
Oh, it has been ca-ra-zy here too! One of the wonderful (& yet not) things about summer 🙂 The piano’s looking great – can’t wait to see the finished project!
A-men. We are so ready to not have a thousand things to do! I LOVE the piano color!!
I can’t wait to see the finished piano! 🙂
Wow! Crazy times! And allergic to paint! That’s terrible.
I did not know you could paint a piano like that. Maybe I need to rethink giving mine away!
