It’s hotter than a hoochie coochie outside so we’ve been playing inside a lot lately.

In other news of staying cool, I really need to keep my cool this week. This is what I have going on in the next week. Yes, just a mere SEVEN DAYS all of this stuff is happening:

-Piano is getting painted. Four coats (plus light sanding) of primer and oil based paint. (Thank God for our friend who is coming over to spray it for us with his magical paint sprayer.)

-Previously red chairs are going to come back from the re-upholsterer. (I have to drive to the other end of the universe to drop off more fabric today and pick them up next week.)

–Living Room Make-Over wraps up. It will be blogged the first week of August!

-See Harry Potter with my husband. (Date night!!!)

-Attend a cook out.

-John goes to Indy for a day and evening. Single mom mode. Yay!

-I need to pull a first birthday party for Jocelyn out of thin air. It’s an ice-cream party for a very intimate gathering. Feel free to send me decorating/food/entertainment ideas.

-Assemble Jocelyn’s kitchen for her birthday. (Hey John, that’s you!)

-Open up my calendar for booking clients. Materials are soooooo close to being able to post. I’m just down to those last annoying little teeny tiny details that pop up RIGHT as you are ready to go ahead with something. Soon people. SOON!

-Cut and color my hair. (Thank God, this wretched sun is killing my hair.)

-Attend a grown up party WITH my husband while wearing big girl shoes.

-Prep for my first shoot of the summer. (Yes, I have shoots on the calendar already. People are literally moving out of state and entering the country from overseas. Exceptions had to be made. I’m excited!!)

So after reading that list I just had a fudgesicle to deal with the thought of all I have going on this week. I’m not stressed though, it’s all super fun crazy stuff going on. Bring it on! I’m shushing now…..so much to do! Thanks for popping in!
