Evvvvvery night Stamp joins Miles for his story time and every once in a while Whisper (she’s the one with the long tongue) will join us too. This is my FAVORITE time of day.

Music by Jake Shimabukuro who John and I saw in the coolest little intimate concert when I was just entering my second trimester of my pregnancy with Miles two years ago. That was such a great memory and I remember I had tears streaming during this song, which is his version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. To anybody who knew my late husband Andy, the song “Somewhere over the Rainbow” makes them immediately think of Andy. In our family it’s the “Andy song” and depending on the circumstances, that song will make me turn to stone and try my hardest not to cry. So this version is nice and jusssst different enough to enjoy it without making me sad.
