The day that the beautiful snow came down, the “blizzard,” if you will, we were experiencing King Plague 2013. Our washing machine literally ran non-stop for 36 hours and our poor kids were sick as dogs. It was BAD and it’s been spreading around town like wildfire. All of that to say, we watched sadly as our neighbors built snow forts and enjoyed their day off school. Finally, as the sun was threatening to melt it all away, the kids were feeling better and we headed out for an hour of play before our yard turned into muddy slush over the weekend.

Needless to say, March is most definitely coming in like a lion and let’s pray it truly comes out like a lamb. (especially since I’m hosting the neighborhood Easter Egg hunt near my home in two weeks!)
