the closeness of tying shoes

It’s Thursday morning. We are running late to preschool and John’s trying to head out the door to the studio, but Miles was enthralled with daddy’s beard. He wanted to play with it, find John’s lips and tickle him. Well, who cares about being late? John is always good about taking the time to slow down, especially when it’s for Miles, or any of us, even the pugs. I had to grab the camera, though I missed the cutest part where Miles’ face was right up close to John’s looking intently into his eyes. It was the sweetest Miles & daddy moment.

Stairs

Of course, there’s the pugs too, sitting on the stairs next to him. (Sorry girls, I couldn’t get you in focus too!) They always sit at the bottom of the stairs while Miles gets his shoes on. They sit, wait and watch, always wanting to be a part of whatever is going on.

Thought I would throw a little bit of everyday life on here before I head to bed. Nighty night! Tomorrow is going to come sooner than we are all ready thanks to DST!

This is absolutely precious! I need a John who reminds me to slow down and not worry too much about being late. Hugs to the King fam. Bets, can’t wait to see you and that awesome new studio space tomorrow! 🙂
