A year ago we were buried under feet upon feet of snow without a day of school in sight. This year the kids had just a day or two of playing in the snow before it all melted away. I’m not complaining, but I believe the kids aren’t too thrilled. So here’s a little look back on a pretty snow day we had. I married the smiliest guy, didn’t I? Love him!

PS Before I get a call from my mom telling me to go buy snow pants, mittens and boots for my daughter, I have to make a disclosure that Joss and I were inside cleaning out her closet while the boys were outside playing. (How very 1950’s of us!) Joss was slowing dressing herself in crazy layers until she saw the snow and her big brother outside. She grabbed the first pair of boots she could find (a garage sale pair of paper thin UGG knock offs) so I obliged, letting her go outside, thinking it wouldn’t last long. (Miles hated the snow when he was a toddler, so I figured Joss wouldn’t want to stay outside long.) Of course she would have been thrilled to play outside all day. So the next day I bought her a pair of snow pants and it hasn’t’ snowed since. : (
