Yearly Archives: 2009

pass the rolls, please

Holy cats, Iโ€™ve been busy. Crazy busy and Iโ€™m not even one of the photographers I bow down to who do Christmas photography sessions through December. My last session was supposed to be on November 18th and it didnโ€™t end up happening due to schedules and weather. Even with that session off the calendar I…

Love it! My tree isn’t even up yet…but maybe today?! Who knows. Considering my blog is nearly equal parts dog and child, I love me a pug post. =) Here’s hoping the holidays are wonderful for the King family!

    your blog makes me happy!

  • HeatherDecember 11, 2009 - 10:37 am

Betsy – I am the same way! I feel so behind the 8 ball right now, but am getting there ๐Ÿ™‚ I have all my portrait shoots done and now I just have to finish up my last wedding….weddings take forever though:) Hang in there and you will get to enjoy Christmas with your sweetie and adorable little guy!

  • ShellDecember 12, 2009 - 12:00 pm

I am right there with you, sista!!! I have been so swamped with work that my house is half decorated, but what is killing me is the unorganized chaos! I have 2 boys and I am dreading them getting more “stuff” for Christmas before I weed through their old stuff, which for our little California bungalow, there really isn’t much room for! AHHH! I feel like I am being swallowed up clutter! I am going to make a date with myself for cleaning/organizing (and resist blogging too). I so get the guilt and shame! (I had coffee-longest comment ever, I will stop now ๐Ÿ™‚

I am way behind the power curve too! Your dogs are so cute- love the tongue sticking out!

I’m still here!

I just wanted to send a quick shout out from my iPhone that contrary to what it appears on my blog, Iโ€™m still here! Life has been pretty insane here and Iโ€™ll be posting stuff soon. Actually, we had new carpet installed last week, including in my office, and I literally just found my camera…

impromptu dance party

I have been wanting to do more writing lately, for the blog, but by the end of the day, Iโ€™m so tired, that I have no energy left. Iโ€™ve had lots of things floating around in my head though, so winter will be here soon enough and Iโ€™ll more time to write. (Hopefully.) However, I…

    1. Your wall displays look awesome.
    2. I never get sick of seeing pictures and hearing stories about Miles.
    3. I stay up until 5 or 6 a.m. working A LOT. It is oh so dumb.

madeline’s senior photos

Madeline is my last senior of the year (sniffโ€ฆsniff!) but I did end on very high note photographing her until we ran out of autumn light and of course, warmth, one November afternoon. When I saw those boots, I did a little (mental) happy dance. Love this look, oh and Madeline? You are OWNING that…

bringing the family together

Well, I pulled it off. I hosted my family of twelve people for Thanksgiving this year, which I realized, is pretty daunting to attempt to do when your toddler is running under foot.
