Hi – thought I would stop lurking. What is it they say on the radio, “long time listener, first time caller.”?! Anyway, just wanted to say that we had a lot of trouble with our daughter and ear infections and we did end up with tubes, but the point is, she is so much better now that she can hear. It has made a world of difference for her to be off medicine and just be feeling better. So I hope for Miles and all of you that he continues to feel great and be able to hear! That is such great news.
Oh – and your kids could not be any more adorable!

At 4, our son got tubes put in his ears, and it opened up a whole new world for him. I love those skinny jeans on Miles, they make him look very grown up!

Ever since Jocelyn started crawling Miles has showed us time and time again, in many various ways, that he is not thrilled to share his toys with his sister. It hasn’t been fun being a referee ALL DAY LONG. I’ve had visions of our house just being a fight zone for the next fourteen years….

My son and daughter are 6 yrs. apart. They have always been very close. But we were very aware of the age difference, my brother and I are the same, but not close at all. We made sure to never ask him to be a baby sitter, he always had his own room and toys, and friends and we think that helped.

Ok, so I am all for sharing – my Michael is still trying REALLY hard to not be mean to little Andrew – but what I am wondering is…how on earth are your floors so clean? REEEEEEEWINNNNNNND!!!!! Has anyone noticed that in that first photo… Miles is a SPITTIN’ image of JOHN??!!?!?!!!!? I’ve never (other than his big blue eyes) seen a major resemblance… but in THAT photo… holy cowabunga batman, they’re twins!

We were the same way! Everyone thought Mallory was a boy, but I never once said boy, I knew she was a girl…I didn’t even ask when I delivered her. I just KNEW. Raising girls will be amazingly worth all of it (and boys too!)! BTW Jossy looks gorgeous in her Easter dress!

I think the heart usually knows :)We were told that our first was a girl. Being a girly girl I was pretty excited. At some point I remember seeing a commercial with a little boy playing and this random thought went through my mind, “I wish we were having a little boy!” I felt so guilty! A few days later, they did another sonogram and told us we were actually having a boy!

I thought the same thing regarding the gender when we were at the sonogram when we found out. I really wanted a girl. S’okay, though – means we can keep trying! 🙂
