Beautiful! Where did you get the tall bookshelves? We have a 2-story room also and I’ve always struggled with what to put on such a tall, blank wall. Love the storage idea (and its practical:).

  • BetsyNovember 15, 2011 - 11:07 pm

My late husband, who was an architect, built the shelves with tongue and groove and compression construction. (No nails) You could get the same look with an IKEA unit, they are the same size as those baskets on the bottom shelf are from ikea and made for their shelves. Thanks so much, btw!

Do you mind sharing where you had your chairs recovered. I’m local, & have 2 chairs that need recovered, and am looking for suggestions. Thanks!

OMG…how did I miss this post? I really admire the way you capture your own family. I always feel inspired to do the same when I come across your blog. Those little legs are just precious.

Awwww 🙂 The classic Betsy King leg shots. She is just the cutest little thing!

she washes her hands now, all by herself!

This little girl is so independent, it blows our mind! We tell her to go wash her hands and off she runs to the sink to wash up. It’s adorable. It’s been so much fun to see how different our two kiddies are. Miles was such a little book reader and very early talker. Joss…

I love how you can video and multi task enough to stop the alarm that is going off (oven maybe?)! So very cute – it’s so amazing to see children take in things, learning and exploring with their entire self. Thanks for sharing.

heppeard family in the fall

We had such a gorgeous fall afternoon for the Heppeard family shoot. They are such a precious, easy going family and it was so nice to capture them in my studio and at Headwater’s park in downtown, Fort Wayne. These sisters are so close and cute together, I had to start out with some shots… Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...
