This little family is very dear to us. You have already met these guys before, so you already know how full of life this family is. We just love every opportunity we get to see them. These are the kind of people you close the restaurant down with because you always have so much to talk about. It was the same photographing them. We shot until we were out of light and about ready to starve to death. (I’m that way with everybody so eat a big snack before your session with me!)
let’s start out with one of my favorites. I was setting up this shot so that Logan would be to the left of his parent’s sassy little embrace in the background, but I wasn’t about to tell this little guy to move to the left a bit when he had the perfect expression going on. I think it worked out perfectly.
I had to show a few of Logan’s many expressions.
By the way, Logan’s skin is not retouched in the least bit. That perfect skin is ALL his. Just gorgeous.
Oh, and yea, Debbie and Mike were there too! 😉 I love this couple so much. Mike is the cool and calm to Debbie’s bright and bubbly personality.
Debbie and I are lucky that we have boys that still love to give hugs.
If you recall, their shoot was around their ten year anniversary, so we did some snuggly shots.
Debbie told me that black eyed susans always remind her of her wedding, so I had to include them in their shoot.
Oh, and Debbie is going to KILL me, but Debbie’s birthday is this week so the birthday girl gets her own headshot on the blog!!!! Woo hoo, hot mama!!!!
Hmmmmm, on other hand, maybe a better gift is a photo of her hubby… 😉
Here’s their slideshow. Be sure to check it out, there were so many I wanted to blog:
Thanks for looking! Oh, and for sticking around, here’s some bonus footage taken by John, who came along on this shoot for fun. I now realize why I have the elbows of a rhino. I’m leaning on asphalt every week!
This one REALLY cracked me up. It appears I’m not impressing Logan AT ALL here. ; )
Wow, well THAT’S a handsome family! Mr. Logan is Hollywood-ready, no doubt. The third picture is absolutely perfect.
Beautiful. The photo of Logan holding his mom’s face and kissing her brought tears to my eyes. How sweet is that????!
Lovin’ all of Logan’s expressions, and how you captured him!
OKAY. Adorb. That 3rd photo pretty much blows me away. So cute.
LOVE that second one. I think that Logan’s mom is going to have little girls breaking down her door.
The close up of Logan with his big blue eyes is UNREAL. Bets, you blow me away with each new post. Well done friend, well done.
What a ham! Great captures Betsy!
Perfect! Your images always inspire me!

Such amazing pictures, as always! 🙂 What a beautiful family. And P.S. You should get elbow pads! 🙂 Just looking at that picture of you laying down on the asphalt hurt me…and then made me put cocoa butter on my own elbows. LOL
