It’s my beautiful niece Emily!!! We spent a pretty fall afternoon (ahem) two months ago (bless my patient niece) and she did such a wonderful job being herself and shining for my camera. This is the last shot. The one that I said, “I’ve got one more shot left on this card, lets just shoot it for fun” and I think it’s the most natural and relaxed shot of the night. Emily, you are just gorgeous.

As I look through your photos, I can’t help but think of your mom, my sister, and I know she is so incredibly proud of you, your voice, beauty and your intelligence. Her love for you will always shine through you and the good you do, don’t ever forget that.

Emily, I wish you all the love, peace, blessings and good luck to you this last half of your senior year. I know that for me, the most growth of my life happened in the years right after high school, so I’m excited to see you blossom on your own. Wait, actually, you’ll grow like crazy the whole ten years after high school, ok, I’m still growing, but you know what I mean. I’m so excited to see you spread your wings and see where your path leads.
