Today we had THE CUTEST little guy to shoot EVER for his one year birthday photos (coming up soon on Feb. 2nd.) Oh my goodness we are in LOVE with this little sweetie. You may have seen this little character before, he books us quite often for shoots. I’m not sure, but I think he’s building his modeling portfolio.
We met him at the Botanical Gardens. We had hoped for an outdoor shoot, but it was 8 degrees out today and figured the gardens would be much warmer. Just our luck they are having a Dr. Suess theme going on and they had a little playground inside the first garden to play. Miles wasn’t too interested at first, he just wanted to check out the mulch.
Miles was so sleepy today. I guess his parents didn’t move fast enough after his nap to get him to the shoot before he got sleepy again. I hear this guy is an amazing sleeper, going to bed at 6 PM and getting up around 7:30 or 8 AM, but that also means he gets sleepy during the day and doesn’t have a very long window of time between naps. He has some sweet and sleeeepy eyes here.
There was a wedding that started right in the middle of where we were shooting so we had to sneak out of as quick as we could. Here’s the minister walking towards the ceremony and Mr. Miles making him smile. Check out Miles’ mom. Don’t you think she needs to buy some new clothes? She heard Banana Republic is having a sale. I think she’s going to go check it out tomorrow during Miles’ nap. I might go with her, we really hit it off during our shoot. She’s a little wierd though. (Again, I don’t usually talk about my clients like this, but these people feel like family to me.)

Miles wants to book another shoot with us since he was so sleepy today. We are thrilled and can’t wait to work with him again. It’s too bad we give Miles such a huge discount. I would surely have all of my photography gear, computer and software paid off ten times over if he paid us full price. ; )

IDK, Betsy. I acutally heard this model has some “diva” like requests for all his shoots. I’d be careful. Models like this have been working the industry since they were born, just be careful. *Beautiful picts. Have a wonderful Sunday. Patrick and I loved these!

He’s so adorable- I could just pick him up and smooch those cheeks all day! The photos are amazing- my faves are the mulch and the sleepy eyes. Great job- what a fun day for you guys!

more than a year ago, you wrote on my birthday card, that 2007 was going to be the best for me. Only GOD knew..The excitement and thrill, I feel when I know I will be with him,is over whelming. We share a special bond..The room just lights up, when Miles and Gramma Smith hang out together. Miles is so much fun, and so smart. Such a joy. Thank you Mommy and Daddy..ya done good!
