Four years ago a blizzard was brewing as I went into labor with Miles. Here we are again with a very similar snowstorm, but a very different little guy. As a matter of fact, a very different Betsy & John too!

Here he is, our sweet little Ground Hog Day baby, holding up a sign with his name written in his very own penmanship.

Miles will wake up to a room full of balloons and an awesome new train set created by dad, waiting to be played with on the living room floor. It’s gonna be a good day to be snowed in.

You know me, my emotions of this little guy’s birthday will be stretched out over a couple of blog posts. For tonight, I’m just going to post his photo with his little four year old “camera smile” and let my thoughts ruminate over the past four years as I head to bed with the sounds of whistling wind and ice pelting the window. One thing I know for sure, I’m so very blessed to have this little man in my life and watch him grow. He blows my mind every day with the things his brain and heart comes up with.
